Job Description

Position: Motion Graphics Designers - Explainer Video - Remote Freelance
Location: Fully Remote/Off-site
Starts: On or around May17th
Duration: 20 or 40 hours/ week, ongoing
Status: Freelance
Rate: DOE

Our client, an entertainment news company, is seeking 2 Motion Graphic Designers. 1 with with experience in designing explainer videos (40-hours) and 1 with experience doing full-screens for live tv (20-hours)

These roles are remote and you will need your own workstation. Candidates who have an understanding of the news/ media space and a modern eye for design are ideal!

Motion Designer #1 40-hours/ week
- Design and animate ~ 1 minute, 2D explainer videos - inquire for samples
- 5+ years of experience in motion design
- Use style frames and Script provided
- Take direction from lead and work with Producer who will edit the footage.
- Reporting to Senior motion graphics on-demand team and Lead live graphics team
Programs: After effects, illustrator, photoshop a must

Motion Designer # 2 - 20 hours/ week
- Create live show, 2D full-screens (cut aways from anchors that show graphics) - inquire for samples
- Design light motion graphics for stories of the day
- 3-4+ years of experience in Motion Graphics
- Opportunity for more hours as needed by client
- Schedule is flexible
Programs: After effects, illustrator, photoshop a must
